Oneonta Garden Club Downtown Planting 2010

The Oneonta Garden Club had its annual downtown planting day on June 2, 2010. The weather could not have been more beautiful, hot, sunny and following a day of rain. In the photo above members of the garden club pose on Muller Plaza in the center of Main Street to gather plants and walk to the many tubs to cover the downtown in petunias, begonias and spikes. Kneeling In the foreground is Mayor Dick Miller, Mayor of Oneonta, who was walking down the street and agreed to pose with the garden club members.
