(left) A stone wall supports a border of mixed perennials and annuals. A lantern serves an an anchor for the display.
(left) A dainty garden miss stands in the midst of a profusion of annuals, begonias, New Guinea impatiens and a low growing blue flower called torenia to edge the border.
(right) Two tiers of flowers are supported by a framework. Cascading are pink and purple petunias interspersed with scaveola in purple. The center of the top tier is held by a deep magenta New Guinea impatiens. The top, giving height and shape to the whole, is a small pink flower called nemesia.
