Jean Hays designed this "tapestry" style arrangement (left) for "The Bandit's Wife". This is a new style for the National Garden Club and involves blocks of color. At the right is her interpretation of "Billy" using driftwood to carry the country theme, blue and white flowers for the colors and hypericum berries for the bits of red in the watercolor. The 70 women attending the luncheon at the Otesaga in Cooperstown enjoyed Jean's presentation.

Ellen Whipple (left) was installed as the club's new president. Marilyn Ball installed the officers.

Our tablescapes carried through the Art in Bloom theme with art and blooms on the table.
