The Oneonta Garden Club held this year's Bake/ Plant Sale at the Swart Wilcox House, the oldest house in Oneonta. The house was open to the public and many customers at the bake/plant sale toured the house.

The house is now a museum, and a treasure for Oneonta.

The Swart Wilcox House has recently received a generous donation from the Beecher family of a large number of pieces of furniture and decorative items.

Mrs. Beecher, as shown in this framed sheet, was a senior high art teacher.

At the right are two pieces of furniture donated to the Swart Wilcox House.
